What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the SmartCalc Edu mobile application provided by Fricke and to this static privacy-policy website (together, the “Services”). It explains how information is handled when you use the Services.

SmartCalc Edu is designed to work without registration or a user account. Fricke does not operate a user database for the application.

This policy is effective from 2 September 2026.

Information we do not collect

SmartCalc Edu does not require an account and Fricke does not collect or store:

• your name, postal address, phone number, or date of birth;
• your email address through the application;
• precise or approximate device location;
• contacts, photos, files, microphone, or camera content;
• calculation history, favorites, practice answers, progress, streaks, or preferences on Fricke servers;
• advertising identifiers, analytics profiles, or behavioral tracking data;
• payment information.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This privacy-policy website does not set cookies, run analytics, show advertising, use marketing pixels, or use browser storage. SmartCalc Edu does not include Fricke-operated analytics or advertising tracking.

Technical delivery data

Like every internet connection, opening this website requires technical network information such as an IP address to be transmitted to the hosting and network provider so the page can be delivered and protected. Fricke does not use that information to build profiles or track visitors. The infrastructure provider may process limited technical data under its own terms and legal obligations.

Voluntary email communication

If you contact Fricke by email or telephone, you voluntarily provide the information contained in your message or call. This communication happens outside SmartCalc Edu. It is used only to answer your request, provide support, or meet applicable legal obligations. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

Your activity stays on your device

To provide its features, SmartCalc Edu may save calculation history, favorites, practice progress, streaks, theme choices, sound preferences, and reminder settings locally on your device. This information is not sent to Fricke and is not available to Fricke.

Operating-system functions, such as local notifications or device backups, are controlled by your device and account settings. Any backup or synchronization performed by your operating-system provider is governed by that provider’s privacy terms, not by Fricke.

Third parties and external links

Because Fricke does not collect personal data through normal use of SmartCalc Edu, Fricke does not sell or share such data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

The Services may contain a link to the SmartCalc Edu listing on Google Play or to the Fricke website. When you follow an external link, the destination service may process information under its own privacy policy. Google Play distribution, downloads, updates, and any store-level diagnostics are controlled by Google and your Google Play settings.

No server-side user data to retain

Fricke does not collect or store personal data from normal use of SmartCalc Edu or this static policy page. Therefore, Fricke has no application account, cloud profile, server-side calculation history, analytics record, or advertising record to retain.

Information stored locally by SmartCalc Edu remains on your device until you delete it, clear the application’s storage, or uninstall the application. Fricke cannot access or retain this local information.

If you voluntarily contact Fricke, the resulting communication may be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, document support provided, resolve disputes, or comply with a legal obligation. It is then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

You control deletion

Because SmartCalc Edu does not create an account or send your app activity to Fricke, there is no server-side user account or app-activity record for Fricke to delete.

Delete on-device information

You can remove locally stored SmartCalc Edu information by using any in-app clear or reset option where available, clearing the application’s storage in your device settings, or uninstalling SmartCalc Edu. Device and cloud backups may need to be removed separately through your operating-system or backup-provider settings.

Delete a voluntary contact request

If you previously contacted Fricke and want your message or related personal information deleted, email support@fricke.ink with the subject “Data deletion request.” Fricke will delete the information it controls unless retention is required by applicable law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Children’s privacy

SmartCalc Edu does not require registration and Fricke does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the application. Parents or guardians should supervise device and Google Play settings as appropriate for the child’s age and location.

If a parent or guardian believes a child has voluntarily sent personal information to Fricke outside the application, they may request deletion at support@fricke.ink.

Data minimization is the safeguard

SmartCalc Edu is designed to minimize data handling. Fricke does not maintain a remote user-data store for the application. This reduces, but cannot completely eliminate, privacy and security risks.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device. Keep the operating system updated, use a screen lock, and manage device backups according to your preferences.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, including the GDPR where relevant, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability regarding personal data controlled by Fricke, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

For normal app use, Fricke generally has no personal data with which to fulfill such a request. If you contacted Fricke voluntarily, you can exercise applicable rights by emailing support@fricke.ink. Fricke may need limited information to verify and respond to the request.

You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority responsible for your place of residence, work, or the location of an alleged infringement.

Changes to this policy

Fricke may update this Privacy Policy when SmartCalc Edu, this website, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner where required by law.
